DR ASHVIN BANDODKAR, M.D.
Co-Founder and Head of English
Dr Ashvin Bandodkar is a Medical Doctor who co-founded and is currently the director of Alpha Education Specialists. Dr Bandodkar graduated in 2016 with a NSW ATAR of 99.95, alongside the following 4 state ranks: 4th in the state for Economics, 8th in the state for Modern History, 15th in the state for English Advanced and 20th in the state for Modern History. Dr Bandodkar was one of 25 individuals nationally to be selected to train within the prestigious Double Degree Medicine program at the University of Sydney. Dr Bandodkar is currently a Doctor at Westmead Hospital and continues to fuel his passion for English tutoring in his capacity as Director of Alpha Education Specialists.
DR VIDYA BANDODKAR, PHD
Co-Founder and Head of Science
Dr Vidya Bandodkar is a Co-Founder of Alpha Education Specialists and currently serves as the Head of Science. Dr Bandodkar holds a BSc, MPhil and PhD, and has been a HSC Chemistry and Biology teacher with the NSW Department of Education for over twenty years. Dr Bandodkar has international teaching experience, having been an Advanced Chemistry teacher in the United States of America for three years. Dr Bandodkar has employed her decades of teaching experience to incorporate individual feedback and teaching of the highest calibre within the Chemistry program at Alpha Education Specialists.
MS JASMEEN KAUR, BMEDSCI (HONOURS- FIRST CLASS)
Head of Mathematics
Ms Jasmeen Kaur currently heads the Mathematics program of Alpha Education Specialists, acknowledging that different learning approaches to Mathematics require a dynamic teaching approach. Ms Kaur utilises a combination of technology and modelling to allow students to better conceptualise complex Mathematical theorem. Ms Jasmeen Kaur holds a BMedSci (Honours- First Class) and is both a PhD Candidate and scholarship recipient at the University of Sydney. She is additionally a tutor at the University of Sydney, employing cutting edge educational strategies into her Mathematics program at Alpha Education Specialists.
